Biography
Phuong T. Tran was born in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, in 1979.听He received B.Eng. and M.Eng degrees in electrical engineering from Ho Chi Minh听University of Technology, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam in 2002 and 2005,听respectively. In 2007, he became a Vietnam Education Foundation Fellow at Purdue听University, U.S.A., where he received his M.S. degree in mathematics and the Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering in 2013. In 2013, he joined the Faculty of Electrical and听Electronics Engineering of Ton Duc Thang University, Vietnam and served as the听Vice Dean of Faculty since October 2014. His major interests are in the area of听wireless communications and network information theory.
